Welcome Winter by wildernessspirits Welcome Winter by wildernessspirits
Winters not quite here yet where I live, but for some reason I'm looking forward to it :P

Somehow wolves and winter just go together don't you think?

anyway this was done with very terrible supplies o.o the pencil crayons me and Nocturne share are quite dead and bad quality, but because of a recent commission I will be getting 400$ soon! woot! I can't wait to buy tons of new art supplies :D and do another picture like this but in better quality haha ^^;

watercolours, sakura ink, and crappy..just..crappy pencil crayons :XD:

Very beautiful, I love the blue tones in the background, so simple but very effective in creating a cold and calm mood. Nicely done!!

Ehh, it depends. I have a lurking suspicion all watercolor brands look alike. I have some Grumbacher and they work nicely, but I have some five dollar ones and they work exactly the same. :/ kind of a waste of 40 bucks. 400 bucks is quite a lot for a commission!

True true, I'm very new to the watercolour scene and I actually haven't tried very many brands as I'm quite money short haha, I guess it's time to experiment :P

Reeves are a pretty good brand to start with. You just have to work with it to make it look good.
